  1. SORRY TO SAY, BUT THAT SONG WAS WRITTEN AND SANG BY TOMMY SHAW, NOT DENNIS ALTHOUGH IT OS A GREAT SONG

  2. IS THIS SITE VERY ACTIVE? I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET A! BUNCH OF DDY FANS TO GET TOGETHER AND CHAT ABOUT THE MAN!!!!

  3. I remember seeing Dennis way back in the 70's when ear plugs or good sound checks weren't even thought of. After all the years of playing to stadiums or even smaller venues where I have seen and enjoyed DDY, I can only imgine that he is enjoying the modern technology as far as hearing not only your own voice, but also your back ground band all at a hell of alot lower db.'s Liz, I believe it only makes it better with the ear/ sound plugs. I have noticed just about every singer/ band that I have seen live or even on TV , wears plugs. It must help ! Great Topic you brought up,,, I'm O.K. PAT
  4. Here are some random DDY hair and look questions sports fans. Any thoughts? Why did DDY shave the beard between Grand Illusion and Pieces of 8? I think to much beer was on his stach ? Why did he have almost a total makeover between Paradise theater and Kilroy by shaving his mustache and cutting his hair? It was almost grey during Kilroy as well. Did he do this for the Kilroy role? I remember hardly even recognizing him when this album came out! He thought it was time to grow up ? What was the deal with the "Spock like" sideburns that he had for most of the 80s and 90s? He was moving into the 80's ?, 90's ?? Did Dennis ever grow the mustache back after Paradise Theatre? Why or why not? No he didn't grow it back, to much food got stuck in it .. Did the band make a conscious choice for Kilroy to all get haircuts? Because on that album everyone has really short hair (with the exception of JY of course). Compare their look on Kilroy vs. Paradise Theatre or even more extreme Grand Illusion. I still love TS and Dennis hair back then. Does anyone realize that Dennis had pretty close to a mullet going on for Edge of the Century? Yes, and I thought he looked good. I had one too When did DDY first dye his hair? My gues is for the Back To The World album. He never dyed it as far as I have seen or heard... To answer all of the above, smiling all the way, I have tried to look like Dennis throughout the years and I LOVE IT, I have worn just about every style of hair and clothing Dennis has ever worn going back to the 70's when I first got into STYX. I'm glad I have this tongue and cheek forum for my idol Don't Let It End,,,,, Pat

  9. WOW, Favorite Dennis song ? I have been a HUGE fan of Dennis and STYX for over 30 yrs, it's hard to pick just one !! "Don' Wait For Heroes is definitely one of them, " I'm OK " and "Suite Madame Blue" are high on my list. Solo songs , " Dear Darling " is my wifes & my song, " Harrys Hands " and " Unanswered Prayers" are great tunes also. I could go on for some time with this list. Putting it mildly," I JUST LOVE DENNIS AND HIS MUSIC " I'm glad to see this group and hope it takes off real well Mac. Keep The Music Alive DDY Fan To The Max, PJ
