Chicago Guy Posted April 13, 2009 Report Share Posted April 13, 2009 I had Easter dinner at my sister-in laws house . We brought easter baskets for the kids and chips and dip and soda . They told us that's what we needed to bring ......... When we sat down for dinner it didn't look so appetizing. They said they shopped at Aldi's , I grew up on discount no name brand food and I swore when I got older I would never eat that no name brand food anymore. The dinner was awful .......... Then they brought desert out, a tin full of brown with cocoa like powder on top ? It was awful ............. When we got home we cook us some food because we were still hungry . Don't get me wrong , I'm not ungrateful ....... But I sure missed the days when my whole family got together and grandma and dad were still around ........ ladybugking Posted April 14, 2009 Report Share Posted April 14, 2009 All of my family Easter activities took place before Easter. BIG family gathering. Easter itself was pretty quiet, which was fine by me. I live in Texas and our wildflowers are gorgeous right now, so it sure does LOOK like spring out there!
