mtlfan
Since I'm on the topic of my son, (I know, I know, what can I say? I'm a mom!!) Jean-Michel made his First Communion last Saturday. We held him back two years from the program because of his PDD to give him time to get to the point where he could understand what he was about to do. (First Communion is typically done at the age of 7 or 8. My son is now 10). He had no problems and we had a great day. For me, it was an important rite of passage as my baby is now well on his way to becoming a young adult. I'm such a sentimental sap!! mtlfan
Hey... a couple of years and he will be taller than you! LOL Thanks for sharing the pictures with us! Big hugs to your son and to you! My dear Simona, I only have to give him 5 minutes and he'll be taller than me! He's eating me out of house and home, LOL! I'll certainly pass on the hugs but he's at the age where he starts to squirm after a minute trying to get out! LOL! Ciao, A.

mtlfan
Lovely pictures, Amanda. Congrats to him and to you! Thanks! I'm still waiting for the photographer's shot of him receiving his first communion from the front. The photog had permission to stand at the right of the altar for the shots. I'll post that when I get it.
mtlfan
Thanks! I'm still waiting for the photographer's shot of him receiving his first communion from the front. The photog had permission to stand at the right of the altar for the shots. I'll post that when I get it. Here's that last shot of my son with Father Jessie. This is the last one, I promise!! What a handsome boy, no?? :-) Sigh, he's almost a man now.
