What is DDY Talk?
DDY Talk is a fan site dedicated to former Styx keyboardist Dennis DeYoung. It has been
designed to be a fan resource, complete with music discography, song lyrics, sample audio,
the latest news about Dennis' projects, and concert information; plus a place for fans
to gather and share stories and experiences in the message board.
How do I use the search feature?
A text search box is located at the top of the menu on the left side of the page. Just
enter the text you wish to search for. An advanced search option is available from the
search results page if you wish to refine your search. To search for items posted on the
site message board, you need to use the
message board
search.
Why aren't all the lyrics listed?
The only lyrics that are included on the site are those that either Dennis wrote, or sang
lead vocals on. Since the focus of DDY Talk is on Dennis and his professional contributions,
Details about other Styx songs have been intentionally omitted from the site. There are
other websites available that focus all incarnations of the group Styx where this information
would be available.
Why aren't all the albums listed?
Since record companies pay all of the cost incurred with recording an album, they own the actual
recordings. Sometimes, a label will release compilation albums at a reduced cost. The album listing
on DDY Talk does not include these additional releases.
How can I get concert tickets to see Dennis?
Each concert information page on the site contains details on how to purchase tickets. If
tickets are available to purchase online, the link will be provided.
Where can I buy Dennis' music?
All album and song lyric pages contain links to purchase music from online retailers in either
CD or downloadable format. Not all albums are currently
in print, and may be unavailable. Searching online auction sites for music could help you
find those albums. You can also visit your local cd/record store.
Why should I become a member of the message board community?
While you can access and read the message board without becoming a member, the enjoyment of an
online community comes from participating in it. Share your own personal thoughts and opinions
with other fans; agree, disagree, or share a different point of view. Been to a concert? Then
tell others what it was like. Also you can only access certain parts of the site, like the file
downloads section, if you are a registered member. It's free to sign up. Valid email address required.
